The former Minister of Gender, Child and Social Protection, Otiko Afisa Djaba has reacted to media reports that she has described the NPP as a useless party and urging Ghanaians to vote for the NDC.
Speaking on Asempa FM’s Ekosiisen, Otiko Afisa Djaba said she has not granted any interview to any media house.
She explained that she has not for the past one year participated in any media interview and political engagements.
Otiko Djaba said she is traumatised and it is not good for people to tarnish her image to promote the image of another person.
She stated that she will invoke the spirit of God to deal with people spreading the propaganda about her.
“That is the character of the NPP. You can ask Ursula. They hate to see women at the height of decision making. What didn’t they do to Hajia Alima? And you have a Bushman like Wontumi as the Chairman of Ashanti Region spewing rubbish about a whole professor? Such a kambooo kraatchi. I am happy I left such a useless party. It’s time for Change and Ghanaians must vote them out”. This was the report circulated on social media.
In a statement issued by her yesterday, she stated that the publication is false indicating that she has never said nor issued such comment.
“I demand an immediate retraction of the publication and apology for the embarrassment caused” she noted.
According to her, she’s seeking the advice of lawyers to ensure that those who perpetuated that false publication will be brought to book.
