The Ministry of Tourism and Culture has moved swiftly to respond to the Ghana Tourism Authority’s (GTA) directive to the hospitality sector.
The Ghana Tourism Autority earlier directed drinking bars to begin business but observe strict social distancing protocols.
The GTA in a statement said the new directive follows the President’s recent address where he advised Ghanaians to observe all protocols in their various workplaces.
They even went on to direct all restaurants to operate and do sit-downs but the Ministry says restaurants can only do delivery services and takeouts.
The Ministry in their statement said drinking bars remain closed and the public is to note that this supersedes the one issued by the regulator
