Management of the 37 Military Hospital says the facility is being overstretched in their duties to fight against Covid-19.
The hospital said some of their staff have been deployed to two treatment centres which has left a gap in healthcare delivery at the hospital.
Commander of the Hospital Brigadier General Nii Adjah Obodai said they are being overstretched.
“Now if I say that we have been tasked to open treatment centres that takes out staff like I said those ones there at El-Wak we have to send staff from there to go work there and the vacancies they have left here are still open and we are still supposed to operate so person wise we are getting stretched now the second centre at Takoradi and we not employing so we are stretching staff to manage these places.”
