The Coalition of NGOs in health says government has taken its eyes of the management of COVID-19.

According to the leader of the coalition Dr Gabriel Benakoh, this has led to a spike in Ghana’s cases.

“We continue to praise government and we appreciate the leadership but we noted that since April the management of COVID-19 has been downplayed. In a pandemic situation like this, you need to explore the sociological medical factors like social distancing, use of mask and what we keep on advocating is that government needed to pass the executive instrument long ago to enforce these directives, this has come too late”.
