A gas explosion has occurred at Krofrom-Tafo in the Ashanti Region today November 20, 2018.
The explosion happened at the Trinity Oil filling station which has left three people severely injured with some cars burnt to ashes.
According to a report on Joy FM, the cause of the explosion has not been given yet.
An eyewitness said the fire started from the emergency room where the gas cylinders are refilled.
The Kumasi Mayor Osei Assibey Antwi has visited the site to look at the extent of the damage.
The fire service have also been at the scene and tried all means to put off the fire.

Reports also say some nearby shops are still burning, but the fire service has contained the situation well.
