Ghanaian media personality and President of the Creative Arts Council, Mark Okraku Mantey has challenged the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) to lay out what they did for creative arts sector during their eight years of governance.
He said the NDC Government cannot point out any improvement within the Creative Arts sector.
Mark revealed at an event on Wednesday, October 21, 2020 on 3news that NPP government led by President Akufo – Addo has done extremely well than NDC in the areas of Creative Arts.
He noted that the establishment of the Creative Arts Funds by the current government as one of the achievements which have helped to boost the sector.
“I challenge the NDC to point to one achievement in the creative arts industry. They did zero for the industry. Apart from the two million, they gave to Obour.”
Mark Okraku Mantey’s comment was on the heels of a section of NDC members lamenting on how this government has failed to do anything to enhance the success and progression of the Creative Arts Sectors.
