Meek Mill has confirmed he has split from girlfriend Milan Harris, just two months after the pair welcomed a baby boy together.
The rapper, 33, confirmed his break up on Instagram, assuring fans that he and Milan, who gave birth back in May, are still on good terms and will continue to co-parent their son. His post read: ‘Me and Milano decided to remain friends and build our child as separate parents. ‘We still have mad love for each other but we both came to an understanding.’
Meek, real name Robert Rihmeek Williams, added that there is no bad blood between the exes, as he captioned his post: ‘@iammilanrouge no fall out either just moving forward! ‘Still love! This for protection so social media work think we moving wrong.’
Their split comes just two months after Meek and Milan welcomed their son. Their little boy is Meek’s third son, as he is already dad to two boys, Murad and Rihmeek, from a previous relationship with Fahimah Raheem. The US star confirmed his baby boy arrived on his 33rd birthday, tweeting at the time: ‘Milano dropped me off a king on my birthday! #thebestgift’ Milan had confirmed her pregnancy in December last year, with Meek then revealing the couple were expecting during a Twitter row with his ex Nicki Minaj.
His latest split comes after Meek was forced to address a series of late night tweets Kanye West had posted and soon deleted, where he said he’d been trying to divorce wife Kim Kardashian for the last two years and accused her of being ‘out of line’ by meeting with Meek at a hotel to discuss prison reform. Kanye had tweeted: ‘I been trying to get divorced since Kim met with Meek at the Warldolf for “prison reform”. ‘Meek is my man and was respectful That’s my dog Kim was out of line I’m worth 5 billion dollars and more than that through Christ But ya’ll ain’t listen to MJ and now ya’ll believe them???’
Cap is a slang term used to say something is a lie. Kim has worked with Meek, real name Robert Rihmeek Williams, since 2019 after Meek co-founded the REFORM Alliance with activist Van Jones. They also both spoke at the the inaugural Criminal Justice Reform Summit in Los Angeles in November 2018, which was held at the Jeremy Hotel.
