Kotoko congratulates ‘fan’ Kuami Eugene for winning 2020 VGMA Artiste of the Year

Ghana Premier League side Asante Kotoko is the latest to congratulate Kuami Eugene for winning the 2020 VGMA Artiste of the Year.

The multiple award winner, Eugene Marco popularly known as Kuami Eugene on Saturday, August 29 at the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC) beat competition from Diana Hamilton, Kofi Kinaata, Medikal and Sarkodie to be adjudged the 2020 VGMA Artiste of the Year.

The artiste also picked up the ”Highlife Artiste of the Year”.

Ghanaians have been quick to praise the achievements of ‘the Angela’ hitmaker and Kotoko have also saluted their supporter.

Kuami Eugene in January jammed with the players of Asante Kotoko in their team in celebration of club’s 2-1 over rivals, Hearts of Oak at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Kuami  Eugene has never hidden his love for the Porcupine club took turns to take pictures with the players, Management members and the coaching staff.

Eugene in an interview revealed he was a Kotoko fan and he will one day compose a song for them.
