Ghanaian artiste Diana Hamilton has indicated that she was never forced to become a singer.
In an interview with Nana Ama McBrown on United Showbiz on October 31, 2020, she said wasn’t forced to sing when she was a child but willingly joined her church choir.
“I wasn’t forced to sing but I joined the choir when I was in nursing training. I was 13 years when I started singing, ‘she said.
According to her, she has enjoyed every step of her journey as an artiste.
“I have enjoyed every moment of my music journey, I did put in a lot of work whether being paid or not because I don’t know if I will be contacted again or not so I make sure to enjoy every bit of it. Singing makes me happy, all I think about is me just singing back then, I lived in the moment and enjoyed every moment.’ She stated.
However, she stated that individuals should willingly do things they have passion for and asked nothing in return because God will let them succeed.
“God blessed me for singing out of love, I wasn’t worried about when I am going to shine, I was all about
enjoying what I was doing and God didn’t disappoint me,’ she said.”
The ‘Work in Progress’ hitmaker advised young artiste to just wait on God for the right time to come.
