Ghanaian singer Jane Awindor, best known by her stage name Efya says she does not subscribe to musical ‘beefs’.
The ‘Best in Me’ hitmaker says she does not have the energy to beef other artiste but acknowledged the fact that it makes numbers of artiste go up.
“I don’t really have the energy and time for a ‘beef.’ It takes a lot of energy. I do not condone this. However, If one does it and helps their numbers, that’s cool, Ghanaians love it when the beef is on. But in the end, the artistes in questioned become cool and vibe,” she said on Joy News.
Her comments come on the back of the recent beef between Singer Sista Afia and rapper Freda Rhymz.
The beef got physical after both artiste in a viral video, were about to throw punches at each other at the premises of Media General had it not been for the intervention of the crew.
In an interview with 3FM on Saturday Sista Afia jokingly said she will beat Freda when they meet.
Perhaps true to those words, a video has gone viral showing her taking off her shoes, handing her bag to one of her crew members in readiness to fight Freda Rhymz.
Freda who was not willing to let it pass also readied herself to face the ‘Queen Solomon’.
“Come and say it to my face, say it to my face,” Sista Afia was heard saying.
Although the manager of Freda Rhymz took her away from the scene, Sista Afia followed them and threatened to slap the security who had asked her to calm down.
Both were on UTV and Sista Efya apologized to Freda Rhymz and Ghanaians for the this unfortunate incident.
