Ghanaian Afro-beats musician Elom Adablah, better known by his stage name EL says every artiste has their own path to follow in the music industry.
In an interview with Sammy Flex on Showbiz Agenda on Zylon FM Tuesday, November 10, 2020, he explained why he is not joining the bandwagon to do what other artiste are doing.
“Everybody has their own path that they follow, some people might move faster or slower so I don’t think it is big deal for any artiste to try to impress the world, they should work in their own space,’ he said.
When questioned why he didn’t partake in the virtual concert done by his fellow artistes during lockdown, he said that he was occupied with a lot of projects but didn’t like artiste’s pretentious attitude.
“I don’t like the way some artistes did it, they set up a big stage with lights on them, then go on stage and start jumping like there are people there but we all knew there is nobody around so that level of pretentious living isn’t for me”.
According to him, he is more of connecting to the people watching from their various destination than to decorate the stage just for no audience to be around, he would rather connect with his fans through his music. Adding that he is working on how to connect with his fans in a unique way.
The 2016 Artiste of the Year winner said he isn’t the type to brag on social media about his achievement, adding that he will let the world know when he wants.
